Hedeland Ski Slope by Roskilde

Hedeland Ski Slope is Denmark’s largest alpine ski facility and offers most of the amenities typically associated with alpine skiing in Denmark.

The ski slope is located in Hedeland, a large nature and recreational area south of the town of Hedehusene, approximately 30 kilometres west of Copenhagen. Access is via Tranemosevej, opposite Reerslev Church.

The slope and lifts

The slope was artificially constructed in the mid-1980s and is served by three lifts: two platter lifts on the left-hand side and a children’s lift on the right. The total lift capacity is approximately 1,800 people per hour. The slope has a vertical drop of 45 metres and a total length of 282 metres.

Snowpark and sledging

A snowpark with rails and boxes is located on the left side of the slope. Sledging is not permitted on the main ski slope, but a designated sledging area is available to the right of the children’s lift.

Food and facilities

Food and drinks are available in the clubhouse, where visitors can also warm up. Guests are welcome to bring their own food and enjoy it in the designated dining area.

Equipment and services

Skis, boots and helmets can be hired at the ski centre. Please note that a Danish health insurance card and cash are required when hiring equipment.

Practical information

The slope is floodlit. Please check the ski slope’s website for current opening hours.
