Here you can find tourist information and inspiration for experiences on the island both inside and outside. In Stalden, beautiful photostats tell about Mandø's special natural and cultural history and provide a good insight into life on the small Wadden Sea island.

You are welcome to sit down at tables and benches, both inside and outside, and enjoy your packed lunch.

If you are going out to experience Mandø, you are also welcome to leave your luggage and any packed lunches in Stalden while you are away.

In Stalden, you will also find public toilets, and you can buy postcards, mugs and other small souvenirs. The profits from the sales go to Mandø Mølle.

Stalden is run both inside and outside by volunteers.

Visit Mandø Nature Collection

During your visit, you can also explore the Mandø Nature Collection, where you can get up close to the island's rich wildlife.

The collection contains more than 200 stuffed birds and small mammals, all collected on Mandø. The birds are displayed in their natural habitats, so you get a vivid impression of the different species and the environments in which they belong.

Informative panels tell about Mandø's unique nature and the island's birdlife. Along the way, you can use the push buttons and listen to the sounds of selected birds - a fun experience for both children and adults.

In the Nature Collection, it is also possible to buy nature brochures if you want to know even more or take inspiration with you on your trip around Mandø.
