Stenøre Beach is beautifully located by the ferry landing on Fur and offers a lovely mix of sand, pebbles, and the clear waters of the Limfjord. It’s the first place you encounter when arriving by ferry – and the perfect starting point for your Fur adventure.

The beach features great amenities such as a kiosk, toilets, and nearby parking. During summer, a bathing jetty makes it easy to take a refreshing dip. Close to the beach is Fur Arena – an activity area with a playground, mini golf, tennis courts, and more, ideal for both children and adults.

Stenøre Beach is also a great starting point for hiking, cycling, and fossil hunting – all popular activities on Fur. From here, you can enjoy views of the Limfjord and explore the island’s unique nature and culture.
