Strib Automobilmuseum
The late Eigil Hindsgaul Madsen spent decades building a museum of gleaming, polished cars. Down to the last bolt, he restored more than 50 automotive treasures and 30 vintage motorcycles.

The museum is now run by the family.
On display is a unique collection of exceptional cars – several of them driven by famous personalities from around the world.
You'll find 50 immaculately maintained, polished Cadillacs, Rolls-Royces, Buicks, and other remarkable cars, along with 30 vintage motorcycles – enough to make anyone dream of the open road with the top down, or of sitting astride one of the bikes.
One of the rarest pieces in the collection is a 7-seat Renault 14/20 from 1909 – the only one of its kind in the world – originally owned by the Count family Schack of Schackenborg Castle.
Another highlight is a 1929 Chevrolet Convertible Coupé once driven by the iconic silent film duo Pat and Patachon.
The museum is bright and welcoming, with beautiful natural light and sweeping views over Lillebælt through large glass panels. On the first floor, you can enjoy your own packed lunch among the 30 vintage motorcycles.
