The fairy tale's themes of the power of love and the struggle between good and evil remain as relevant as ever. Alongside the narration, the story is brought to life through moving and enchanting music by composers including Beethoven, Kodály and Schubert, as well as a work by Britta Byström written especially for the trio.

Admission: DKK 100 (free for young people under 25).

About Trio col Basso

The trio was founded in 2014 and has since performed numerous concerts each year. Through expressive classical repertoire and a wide emotional range, they create musical storytelling that connects performers and audiences alike.

The members trained at conservatoires in Denmark, Sweden and Austria. They have performed on three concert tours across Denmark and were commissioned, with support from the Danish Composers' Society, to perform Tranströmermusik, a work by the Swedish composer Britta Byström written for the trio.
