Cosy, well-equipped cabins
At Strandgården on Skarø you’ll find two smoke-free, cosy cabins for two people each; one also has a small loft with an extra sleeping option. The cabins are located on the island’s teltplads (campsite) at Sommersild, just 300 metres from the ferry jetty. They are insulated and equipped with light and heating. Rentals include duvets, pillows, bed linen, towels, tea towel, dishcloth, crockery and glasses. Outside, tables and chairs invite you to enjoy the view and outdoor life.
Shared facilities and practical information
The cabins have no private kitchen or toilet, but you have access to the campsite’s large shared room with kitchen facilities, fridge, cooker and oven. Toilets are available on site, and hot showers can be used in the harbour service building about 300 metres away, payable by Dankort (Danish debit card). Strandgården also has a small farm shop selling sheepskins and meat from the island’s own grazing animals, and you can order fresh breakfast bread on the island.
