Stop by Teglkås Fiskerleje, a true cultural gem on the west coast of Bornholm.

Teglkås offers small idyllic fishermen's houses and smokehouses

Teglkås Fiskerleje is a true cultural gem on Bornholm with its small harbor and a strip of small idyllic fishermen's houses and smokehouses sandwiched between the narrow beach and the land behind, which rises steeply 80 meters above sea level. It is certainly not without reason that many tourists find their favorite motif for their holiday album in Teglkås.

Teglkås harbor was built in 1850

Today, none of the small smokehouses in Teglkås are in use. On the other hand, there is a newer bridge in the outer harbor, which is frequently used as a bathing jetty by the area's residents and guests. The harbor in Teglkås itself was built in 1850, but expanded several times since. The harbor can be approached in good weather and daylight, and be aware that there are large rocks north of the entrance.

Experience Gines Minde, Jons Kapel, Blåskinsdalen and Vang

If you drive a little further north, the narrow coastal road ends at a parking lot, from where you can continue the trip on foot. Follow the path past "Gines Minde" and into the forest, uphill and on to, among others, Jons Kapel, Blåskinsdalen and Vang.
