Take a break by the harbour in Gråsten

As part of the cross-border collaboration Blomster bygger Broer (Flowers Build Bridges), a small oasis has been created overlooking the harbour in Gråsten.

It’s an ideal place to take a break while cycling the Flensburg Fjord Route, which crosses the Danish-German border.

The garden has been designed as a place to stop, relax and explore. It also aims to inspire visits to other green oases on both sides of the border and introduce visitors to the German Gartenschau concept.

Explore the Flensburg Fjord Route

The Flensburg Fjord Route guidebook is a useful companion for the 307 km cycle route. Along the way, you’ll pass through natural landscapes and gardens and discover historic sights, art and cultural attractions.

View the English guidebook or the guidebook in Dutch online or order a copy at VisitSønderjylland.dk.

Printed copies of the guidebook are also available from the tourist information office in Aabenraa, as well as in Flensburg and Glücksburg.
