The bronze statue of a rooster by Henning Wienberg Jensen is erected by the fountain on Lilletorv in Thisted.

The work was unveiled in connection with a major renovation of the square in 1987.

Henning Wienberg Jensen, who hails from Thisted, has also created the bronze sculpture "Thisted Girl", which stands by Kystvejen in Thisted.
