Værløse Golf Club is located close to Copenhagen center and features a scenic 18-hole course along with beautiful surroundings and facilities.

Just 20 km from the center of Copenhagen, you’ll find Værløse Golf Club, which is the perfect place if you want to play golf in scenic surroundings close to the vibrant city – in fact, it’s just an S-train ride from the Central Station. Værløse Golf Club was founded in 1993 and has since grown to become the second-largest sports association in the Furesø Municipality. Over the years, the club’s course has only improved, while the old farmhouse, which today houses the Golf Café and clubhouse facilities, has been beautifully preserved. The building includes two large terraces that, during the summer months, become a central gathering point for club life.

The course, consisting of 18 holes, was originally designed by Swedish golf course architect Jan Sederholm, who is known for his characteristic greens that made putting particularly challenging. From 2009 and over the course of five years, the course has been improved and updated, and the former greens have become more manageable, although they can still challenge even the most seasoned golfers. At Værløse Golf Club, you can also improve your game at the club’s driving range, where everyone is welcome to train for a fee.
