The former water tower in Hammer Bakker has been given a new lease of life as an impressive viewing tower, which is opening to the public with a grand opening ceremony. The tower is situated directly on the route known as the ‘Hærvejsperlen Hammer Bakker’ and adds to a special experience of the natural surroundings.

From the top, visitors can enjoy a unique panoramic view of the Limfjord and the scenic surroundings. The project has been realised by the local voluntary association and marks a new meeting place in the countryside. With a new internal staircase, the tower is now accessible to all, allowing visitors to enjoy the view from 70 metres above sea level.
