Vester Skerninge Church

The core of the church is Roman and built of rough fieldstone. The original church was expanded twice, first west and in the late-Gothic times the old Roman chancel was pulled down and replaced by a new one spanning the width of the whole church. The porch is late-Gothic and built on a base of fieldstone.
