In Kunsttårn 6, Silje Bruun Hansen exhibits the work "Family." For Silje, people and emotions are the focus, and a cartoon-like figure appears repeatedly in her works. With this exhibition, Silje utilizes the height of the tower. The artwork consists of three panels featuring her characteristic human figures, who lift each other, stand on each other, and lie on each other in layers.

"On each wall, there are two people carrying some elements from earlier works. The title came to me only after I saw the finished work. I think the title fits well because of these figures that are a bit cramped together and lie in layers," Silje explains.

Silje is a self-taught artist, born and raised on Langeland. In 2021, she opened the A&B gallery in Rudkøbing with her partner. Silje is among the youngest practicing artists on Langeland.
