Digital City Walk – The monastery route in Mariager

Starting from Egepladsen in Mariager, the Monastery Route begins, which, as the name suggests, delves into Mariager’s monastery period. From here, you embark on 10 stops along an 800-meter route through Mariager, passing Birgittahuset, the Monk’s Residence, the Monastery Garden, and not least Mariager Church.

Listen to the stories and learn more about “Saint Birgitta” and the nuns and monks who lived their daily lives in Mariager.

About an hour later, you finish the Monastery Route at the memorial stone in the cemetery, filled with fascinating stories.
