Digital City Walk – The town and fjord route in Mariager

On the city walk “Town and Fjord Route”, you dive into Mariager’s history as a trading town through the ages. Starting from Himmerigs Plads at the town square in Mariager, the route takes you across both the town and the harbour area through its 8 stops.

The tour brings you past Mariager Museum, sharing the story of the 300-year-old museum farm. After a stop at the station building and the vintage railway, the tour continues down to the water, where you learn more about Mariager Fjord, Denmark’s most beautiful fjord. After 1.4 km, the route ends at one of Mariager’s points of pride – the Lion Fountain.
