Who is covered by the low emission zone?

If you drive a diesel-powered vehicle (lorries, vans, buses and cars), you must have a particulate filter installed to drive in the low emission zone.

Where is the environmental zone in Aarhus?

The environmental zone in Aarhus includes the urban area bounded by Nordre Ringgade, Vestre Ringgade, Søndre Ringgade, Marselis Boulevard and Sydhavnsgade. These streets are not part of the zone. The environmental zone is signposted on the roads at all entrances to the zone. It has been taken into account that road users from outside can access the zone and turn off if they do not have permission to drive in the zone.

See it on a map here.
