The Hjortøboen sails between Svendborg and Hjortø. The journey takes 1 hour, passing through the beautiful Svendborgsund and sailing past Skarø before the ferry docks in the island's small harbor. There is room for 1 car and 12 passengers on the ferry.
Outside of school summer holidays (end of June to midt August), the Hjortøboen sails only by reservation.
