Koldkær Forest

Koldkær Skov is a forest owned by Aalborg Municipality. It is located between Hou and Hals, spreading across 60 acres of land. It reaches all the way to the Kattegat, and was mainly comprised of moor.

Today, however, it offers several different kinds of plant life, from smaller pine forests to oak, sand dunes and beach. A crooked stream snakes its way through the western part of the area, and several smaller animals live here.
