Mandø Church
Mandø Church was built in 1639 and is one of three known church buildings on Mandø. The sea claimed the earlier churches.
Mandø Church is a fine example of how the sea and the weather on the whole, have marked and impacted life on the island. The present church is situated on a terp for in this way to secure it against the high tide. The church porch from 1792 has two main doors, either one used depending on the direction of the wind.
