Ø-CAMINO Læsø - Etape 1 - 15 km - Vesterø - Østerby

Ø-CAMINO LÆSØ probably starts for most people in Vesterø, where the Læsø ferry arrives from Frederikshavn. You can walk both anti-clockwise and anti-clockwise, and the first stage between Vesterø and Østerby is also a popular walking route for many, partly because there is a free bus between the two towns. Stage 1 is about 15 km along Læsø's north coast and offers both beach, bog, heath and the large dune plantation. There is the option of overnight accommodation both in Vesterø, along the way at a nature campsite or shelter and in Østerby. There are toilets and water in a few places along the way.
