Østskoven is a green excursion destination in Esbjerg, the forest has paths, lakes, nature camp site, heart trail, campfire hut and ancient route.

Forest with paths, lakes, rest area, shelters, playground and ancient route. From 1988-94 Esbjerg Museum excavated a number of ancient settlements representing the total developement of settlements from Stone Age to Middle Age. Esbjerg Museum has made an exhibition about ancient times in the area and also created an ancient route through the area.
