OUI

The playful artwork named “OUI” consists of an epoxy varnished, steel reinforced oak lance, a ring of painted steel and a horseshoe with the symbol of mackerels. This is how Mathias & Mathias build on the annual tilting at the ring festivals of Sønderjylland as well as Aabenraa's city weapon with the 3 mackerels. The three elements lance, ring and horseshoe make up over dimensional architectural fragments that remind us of the tilting at the ring activities.
