Restaurant Gaia is Vejrø’s exclusive fine dining restaurant, where gastronomy, seasonality and ingredients from the island come together in an ambitious culinary experience.

The kitchen is centred around Vejrø’s vegetables, herbs and other island-grown produce, as well as locally sourced game. The menu is complemented by carefully selected fish and seafood. During the peak season, the kitchen team forages, preserves, ferments and captures flavours from Vejrø’s natural surroundings, allowing some of the season’s ingredients to find their way onto the plate during the colder months of the year.

Gaia places great emphasis on the quality of its ingredients and works closely with the island’s gardeners and farmers. Creativity and curiosity shape the kitchen, where the produce itself forms the starting point for both flavour and presentation.

Restaurant Skipperly is the island’s gathering place for breakfast and lunch. Start the day with an inviting breakfast featuring ingredients from Vejrø and selected producers from the local area. At lunchtime, traditional Danish open sandwiches are served and can be enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the sea.
