The 7.8 km long route goes through the Nonnebo bog and Birkende, where you can see the statue of Hans Tausen, who was born in Birkende in 1494. He became Bishop of Ribe in 1542.
On the return trip over Hvileholm, you can see very special nature in the form of wild orchids and the very rare Mygblomst.

In Birkende there are accommodation options, and Langeskov offers eateries in the Langeskov Centre, where you will also find toilets and parking.

The terrain is mainly paved with a few gravel paths.
