Santa Claus arrives with Samka
You're sailing to a real island! And, of course, Santa Claus and his family do the same.
Come and welcome Santa and his family when they arrive with the good ship Samka on Friday 29 November at 16 at the steamship bridge in Marstal, near the ÆrøXpressen office.
After the festive arrival, everyone will walk together through the cosy, Christmas-decorated Marstal, up to Kompasrosen. Here Santa will light the Christmas tree and both children and adults will sing happy carols while dancing around the tree.
There will be goody bags for the children and a cosy Christmas competition where Santa will draw the lucky winners who will take home a Christmas present. The theme for this year's Christmas competition is Christmas trees, so cut and decorate a beautiful cardboard tree or draw a beautiful Christmas tree and enter the competition.
Afterwards, there is plenty of time to get home and have dinner before the evening ends with a concert at 7pm in Marstal Church. Viften, Marstal Småborgerlige Sangforening, Amanda and Boas will perform with a variety of musical elements that are finely tied together by David Thygesen-Tashev.
