What makes Rødhøjlund special is the variety of its landscape. This is not a neatly managed plantation with straight rows of identical trees. Here you find undulating terrain with a mix of deciduous and coniferous trees, and between the higher ground, wet moorland areas spread out with soft, spongy underfoot conditions. A trail leads from the end of Drosselvej across a small bridge over a ditch and out to Rødhøjvej — it is particularly beautiful in spring and autumn but can be quite wet along the way.
