The architecture and frescoes of Spørring Church
Spørring Church comprises a Romanesque apse, chancel and nave, as well as a late-Gothic porch and the lower part of the tower. The tower itself was not erected until 1935, although as early as 1805 the congregation had complained that the church bell was difficult to hear.
In 1954, frescoes were uncovered on the vaults of the chancel and nave. The frescoes date from the late 15th century and add yet another historical layer to the church interior.
