The Danish Bus Museum – Guided Tours and Group Visits

Guided tours and group visits at the Danish Bus Museum
A visit to the Danish Bus Museum in Skælskør can be more than a walk through the exhibition. The museum receives groups and coach companies on weekdays by arrangement, and the volunteers who show people round often have a background in the bus industry themselves, telling the story of Danish coach travel from the inside.
A ride in a vintage bus
During opening hours you can buy a ticket for a short ride through Skælskør in one of the museum's vintage buses. For groups the ride can be extended, and the museum is happy to help arrange guided tours in the local area.
A full day with a boat trip
The museum can combine a visit with a trip aboard the excursion boat Skælskør V, which sails from Skælskør harbour out into the Great Belt and back. The day then continues by vintage bus and a visit to the museum. Refreshments can be served both on board and at the museum, each of which seats up to 90 guests.
Practical
Groups and coach companies are received by prior booking only. Coffee, cake, ice cream and drinks are available at the museum, and open sandwiches can be ordered in advance and enjoyed in one of the exhibition rooms or in the courtyard. Current opening hours and contact details are on the museum's own website.
