Experience the world’s best badminton players
The world’s badminton elite is heading to Horsens in April and May 2026, when Forum Horsens hosts the world championships for national teams – the Thomas & Uber Cup. The arena floor at Forum Horsens will be transformed into a world-class badminton venue, giving spectators the chance to get up close to the action. These championships are not about individual glory – instead, national teams compete for the title of the world’s best badminton nation. The Thomas Cup is the men’s tournament, while the Uber Cup is the women’s equivalent. The two tournaments will be held as one combined event in Horsens. With matches spread across ten days, you can look forward to an intense schedule packed with top-level badminton.
On both the men’s and women’s sides, 16 nations will participate, each with 7–8 players per team. This is the second most prestigious badminton event, after the individual world championships, so countries usually bring their strongest lineups.
