Traktørstedet Vestamager is a cafe serving breakfast, lunch and other refreshments right on the frontrow to 2,000 hectares of wild nature on the edge of Copenhagen.

Take a seat on the big patio and enjoy lunch with a second-to-none view of the nature reserve Kalvebod Fælled. Tratørstedet Vestamager is open all year round, so you’ll ”naturally” get a different experience for each season you visit. Who knows – you might be lucky a deer will jump by right in front of you while taking in a sunset and a glass of wine.

All meals are made from fresh, local ingredients. Homemade, no-nonsense, simple and delicious food.

The café is located in walking distance to the Vestamager Station metro stop and the adjacent Naturecenter Amager is a perfect destination for families and anyone interested in nature.

Here they offer bike rental, outdoor gear, nature guidance and nature school, water pumps and public restrooms.
