Neo-Romanesque architecture

The current church was built in 1885 in neo-Romanesque style using granite, replacing an earlier medieval church dedicated to Mary.

The pulpit and altarpiece originate from the former church and depict Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane. A ceramic cross from 1982 represents “Life, death, resurrection and eternity”.
