RE:PATCH 0.4

A floating, luminescent sculpture inspired by glow-worms and the quiet poetry of nature

The work RE:PATCH 0.4 takes its inspiration from the forms and patterns found in nature. Literally created from studies of glow-worms… which also means that the sculpture, crafted from various materials, has been treated with luminescent paint and, just like the glow-worm itself, glows in the dark. Rasmus Nielsen employs a simple yet sensually abstract formal language, and as the sculpture hangs suspended in the tower room, it is complemented by smaller
mirror-reflective works in geometric shapes, which both create a counterpoint to his imitation of nature and form a unified whole.

Langeland's Art Towers - a unique way of experiencing art

Denmark's longest art exhibition can be experienced by visiting 12 former electrical transformer towers on Langeland. The art towers give visitors an artistic experience in the heart of the Langeland countryside.
From North to South and East to West, you can explore the cultural landscape and enjoy art in rural peace and quiet.

The towers are open all year round. A tour around them all will always offer a new experience, influenced by both the season and weather.
