Between Ruds Vedby and Store Åmose stands a modest bird tower with an immodest view. Lykkebjerg is located on Jyderupvej near Ruds Vedby in Kalundborg Municipality, roughly midway between Kalundborg and Sorø. To the west, Nørager Forest rises with views all the way to Funen from Kløveshøj, while Åmosen stretches eastward with its rich birdlife and archaeological traces from the Stone Age. Ørnebjerg, a protected area just four kilometres away, offers rare flora and ancient historical remains.
