MOVE YOUR BALANCE – A Different Nature Experience
MOVE YOUR BALANCE offers a unique outdoor experience where laughter, balance and friendly competition go hand in hand. Our activities are perfect for small and medium-sized groups of colleagues, friends celebrating a special occasion, team-building events and similar gatherings. During the Summer holidays, we also welcome active families with older children – no booking in advance required.
At MOVE YOUR BALANCE, the focus is on sharing memorable moments. Our activities encourage teamwork, communication and plenty of laughter as you challenge one another in a relaxed and welcoming setting.
Modern Technology in Beautiful Surroundings
Your adventure begins on a self-balancing electric Smart Scooter. From there, you'll follow almost 1.5 kilometres of trails winding through the surrounding grain fields, leading you from one activity area to the next.
Each stop offers a new challenge where you'll compete using concentration, precision, balance and just a little speed.
As you ride between the different activities, take a moment to enjoy the open landscape, the fresh country air and the peaceful surroundings. But keep your eyes on the trail! A small bump in the track might catch you by surprise, and before you know it, your friends are laughing. Don't worry — chances are they'll be the next ones providing the entertainment.
Every activity has been designed and built by us and cannot be found anywhere else. Using untreated larch, we have created simple, mobile installations inspired by familiar games but reimagined in completely new ways. The challenges are deliberately uncomplicated, with no motors, electronics or advanced technology involved. Instead, the focus is on having fun while discovering that even simple tasks become surprisingly different when performed on a Smart Scooter.
You control the Smart Scooter simply by using your own balance. There are no handlebars to twist for speed, nor an accelerator — your body does all the work.
Is It Difficult?
That's probably the first question most people ask.
The answer is reassuringly simple.
Before setting off, we provide thorough instruction and personal guidance until everyone feels comfortable and confident. Nobody starts the course until we are satisfied that everyone is ready.
Our experience is that after just a few minutes most people smile and say:
"Is that all? I thought it would be much harder — this is great fun!"
Nature as Part of the Experience
Once you're on your way, you'll discover that the surroundings become just as important as the activities themselves.
You may find yourself following a hare across the field before it suddenly disappears into the grain. Buzzards and kestrels are regular visitors, while red kites and even white-tailed eagles are often seen soaring overhead. Butterflies sometimes accompany you along the trails, adding another small reminder that you're sharing the landscape with nature rather than simply passing through it.
After completing the course, you might like to relax with something to eat or drink.
Our spacious and cosy giant hat tipi offers the perfect place to unwind, while our outdoor picnic tables invite you to enjoy the view towards the woods accompanied by birdsong. We keep a selection of organic soft drinks and alcohol-free beers chilled and ready for you — perhaps to enjoy together with your own packed lunch.
Working With Nature
Respect for nature is at the heart of everything we do.
Our Smart Scooters are fully electric and almost silent, allowing you to experience the countryside without disturbing its natural tranquillity. The electricity used to charge them is generated by our own solar panels.
Our activities take place on working farmland in the heart of Western Zealand, in close cooperation with the local farmer who cultivates the fields. Early in the Summer, you'll ride through waving green crops. Later in the season, the scent of freshly harvested straw fills the air, and after harvest the landscape changes once again.
Every visit offers a slightly different experience, always with respect for both agriculture and wildlife.
We look forward to welcoming you to MOVE YOUR BALANCE.
