The south pavilion (takeaway + dining)

The first pavilion has a rather charming history. Before Sticks’n’Sushi moved in back in 1999, the building was a petrol station. When the restaurant took over, the old petrol station beneath the distinctive hexagonal roof was transformed into a partially open kitchen, where the chefs now roll sushi, grill sticks and fill the room with the aroma of freshly prepared food. Here, you can sit down for a meal or pick up your sushi to take home. In summer, the terrace between the two pavilions is one of the loveliest spots in the area to enjoy sushi in the sunshine.

The north pavilion (the restaurant)

The second pavilion, which Sticks’n’Sushi took over in 2006, previously housed a flower shop. Today, it offers a calmer dining experience, completely separate from the takeaway area. The open kitchen sits at the centre of the room, surrounded by a bar where guests can watch the chefs shape nigiri, roll maki and grill meat and vegetables. The menu ranges from colourful salads and crisp rolls to Japanese beers. For those seeking a more intimate atmosphere, there are window seats and a small garden behind the pavilion, which is especially beautiful during the summer months.

Group dining

For groups of ten or more, Sticks’n’Sushi kindly asks that food is ordered in advance. They also offer both vegetarian dishes and alternatives to raw fish, ensuring there is something for everyone.
