Stay the Night in a Hiking Hut on Stige Island

On Stige Ø, just northeat of Odense, you can spend the night in a shelter surrounded by scenic nature and with views over Odense Fjord. Several shelters are gathered around a campfire area, set in open landscape, a perfect space for community, relaxation, and outdoor experiences. You are welcome to light a fire, and it is allowed to collect small amounts of firewood in the area.

Stige Ø is a unique cultural landscape, created from surplus soil during the excavation of the Odense Canal in the late 18th century, and the island is only about 6.5 km from Odense Central Station, close to both city and nature.
