Asnæs is a long, wooded peninsula reaching far into the Great Belt and forming the southern shore of Kalundborg Fjord – directly opposite Røsnæs. Old estate forests such as Asnæs Vesterskov and Forskov shape the landscape, with trails leading down to the water on both sides. The land belongs to the Lerchenborg estate, whose baroque manor lies by the fjord. With rich birdlife, quiet woodlands and views across both fjord and belt, Asnæs is a peaceful nature area right next to the town of Kalundborg – perfect for walking, cycling and enjoying the coast.
