Tinkerdal Dog Forest
Treat your dog to a fun and active day out at Tinkerdal Hundeskov (Dog Forest). Here you will find a challenging agility course for your dog and the chance to spot the sleeping wooden giant, VildEmil.
Beautifully situated in the forest along the main road between Holstebro and Viborg, you will find Tinkerdal Hundeskov. This scenic area makes for a perfect excursion for families and dog owners alike, as the dog forest is directly connected to the popular Tinkerdal Besøgssted (Visitor Site).
Inside the dog forest, you can let your dog off the leash under controlled conditions to run free and explore. As a unique feature, this forest includes an exciting dog agility course, allowing your four-legged friend to test their skills on various obstacles.
Once your dog is done playing, you can go exploring in the surrounding woods. Hidden away between the trees sleeps the forest's giant resident, VildEmil – a large wooden troll sculpture created by the world-famous artist Thomas Dambo.
Picnic tables and benches are available on-site, providing a perfect spot to enjoy a packed lunch or a cup of coffee in the peaceful woodland surroundings.
