Tvis Dog Forest
Let your four-legged best friend run free in Tvis Hundeskov (Dog Forest) – a 3.4-hectare fenced nature paradise located in the historic and scenic area right by Tvis Mølle.
Located in a beautiful natural area east of Holstebro, you will find Tvis Hundeskov. The dog forest connects directly to the popular Tvis Mølle Naturlaboratorium (Nature Laboratory) and the historical ruins of Tvis Kloster (Tvis Monastery), making it the perfect stop for an outing for both dogs and owners.
The 3.4-hectare area is fully fenced, allowing your dog to safely roam, explore the forest floor, and play with other dogs. Here, dogs are welcome off-leash, provided they are under full control and respond to your call.
The dog forest features a pleasant path system winding through varied woodland. Along the route, you will find picnic tables and benches, where you can take a rest and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere near the river Tvis Å while your dog burns off energy.
Please note: Remember to bring your own water bottle for your dog, as there is no fresh drinking water supply inside the forest area.
